An omnibus is really cool to look at...but I wish it wasn't so heavy. It's awkward to read on one's bosom while on one's back on one's bed. Thankfully regular comics do the trick. There, I said it. There is only three things I do in bed, and reading ain't one of them. There. I said it.

Yeah, I like the Omnibuses for how good value they are for a hardcover collection, but man, they weigh a ton! They really make my arms ache when I'm reading one in bed. They're just kind of unwieldy.

They used to throw sand in my face at the beach... but then I discovered Omnibuses!!! Take that, Ben Weider method!

They may be heavy but I wish there was a Millie the Model omnibus. Especially for the latter Archie-type years.

I would love a subscription to something like Lootcrate that sent me omnibuses and trades of tried and true comics outside of my comfort zone, books like Millie the Model included. I know I'll get around to reading it eventually, but there's so much out there that sits on my mental backburner.

The libraries in NYC have many Omnibuses available, both from DC and Marvel. The one I keep thinking of getting is the Complete Grant Morrison Doom Patrol. I will, once I bring my shopping cart to the library

The law forbids me from owning a gun but I have an Omnibus to smash intruders for protection The law prevents you in NYC. Maybe if more people legally could have guns, there wouldn't be the high rate of crime that the city enjoys.

Without wanting to get embroiled in a big discussion about gun control, statistics say otherwise. More guns does not make society safer or reduce crime. Quite the opposite. I would think the U.S. at large is a text book example of this. As an aside, I had no idea that private gun ownership was banned in NYC. I thought owning a firearm was ridiculously easy right across America.

Kanye West has been heading towards this breakdown since he married the biggest attention hound in the world. She also, is not herself since being robbed. It's the life you lead that brings things around.

I stand corrected but I would love to see how many of those deaths are a person killing a criminal.

Much as I think this thread has veered seriously off-topic, I do need to address this. I stand corrected but I would love to see how many of those deaths are a person killing a criminal. The problem with the idea of armed civilians shooting criminals is that it makes anyone licensed to carry a firearm the judge and jury of someone they perceive to be committing a crime. You not only get to decide if they are guilty of committing the crime, but also what the severity of the punishment should be. That's a dangerous amount of power to lend to a licensed judge, let alone any average Joe who can pass a background check. What would Batman say?
