And there's always a 54-78% chance that Traci Lords is going to show up as a psycho nurse, psycho babysitter, psycho math tutor, etc. It's perfect trash television. Did't she play Dejah Thoris, too? Yikes. You're right. Opposite Antonio Sabato, Jr's John Carter. Here's the description from IMDB: Princess of Mars (2009) "John Carter (Antonio Sabato Jr.) is some kind of lone soldier in the middle east who looks at everyone through the scope on his rifle, until one day he gets shot a bunch of times and the government decides to reconstruct him on another planet for some reason. Naked and surrounded by hostile aliens, John Carter must fight for survival as aliens try to kill him and/or make him eat bugs. John Carter does NOT WANT TO EAT BUGS."

I actually adore Christmas music.
There's a serenity about it.
Here's my favourite, What child is this, on the harp

Xmas music makes me rage, though rarely as much as one day last year where my local supermarket were playing two short Xmas playlists at the same time, so I got to hear several different discordant song battles - Jonny Matthis v Boney M, Slade v (my all time most loathed Xmas song) Band Aid, etc. Absolute torture.

That does sound utterly hellish. It's probably lucky for the shop staff and customers that you weren't armed.

I love the sound of the harp but but I've only managed to find a few really good albums over the years. haven't succeeded in finding a whole lot of good stuff over the years. Anyone who's looked into this a bit must have heard of Turlogh O'Carolan, famous 18th-century blind Irish harpist, composer of many, many famous works for the harp. Youtube the name, of you haven't. Derek Bell, from the Chieftains, is one performer I like, but I'm sure there are lots of others I don't know about.

The only thing worse than Christmas music is Christmas music performed by a childrens' chorus or choir. I loathe the sound of little kids singing.
Cei-U! Bah, humbug!

I love Christmas music. Well, I love some Christmas music. I like (some of) the classic stuff and choirs and good instrumentals, but I despise modern pop versions of Christmas songs.

I positively cannot stand that children's choir version of Cannon in D Major. Otherwise, I frickin' love holiday music, especially anything sung by Dean Martin while he's clearly smashed beyond all reason. Makes me chuckle every time.

The only way I can deal with Christmas music is if it's jazz. Gimme The Vince Guaraldi Trio or gimme no Christmas music.

Coming back to work after a 4 day holiday weekend bites! Everything screwed up. Have to play catch up for the 4 days lost. Everybody wants everything done right this moment or yesterday. Nobody wants to take responsibility. Everybody's brains are turned off from Thanksgiving and gearing up for Christmas shopping. Work truly is the most painful it can ever be this time of the year. Bah Humbug and Merry Grinchmas!!! There i said it!
