Another post here reminded me of the combining of two titles into one, to(hopefully) save them; Atom/Hawkman.
And Green Lantern was changed to Green Lantern/Green Arrow in the 70s.
I know Marvel tried this in the 70s but can't recall the title.
What title mergers stand out in your memory?

Power Man and Iron Fist was combined. YES! That was the Marvel title I was thinking of. Thanks!

Captain America and Daredevil added someone. Do those count?

Captain America and Daredevil added someone. Do those count? Black Widow and Falcon were like guest stars but didn't have their own titles with falling sales...unlike both Power Man and Iron Fist who each had their own books. I barely have a handful of issues of each...but know they can be bought for cheap...

Hawkeye was kind of saved within the Captain America title during the 90ies, wasn't he?

One of the more successful examples would be combining Jimmy Olsen, Lois Lane, and Supergirl's titles into Superman Family.

Perhaps too polyamorous for the theme, but Marvel's entire 2099 line was scrapped and merged into a single comic featuring all the characters: 2099: World of Tomorrow. It didn't last long.
Marvel experimented with its Cable and Deadpool titles, first renaming them into Soldier X and Agent X respectively (because comics with "X" in the name sell better, dontcha know?) and then cancelling both and combining the characters into a single series, Cable/Deadpool.
EDIT: I see icctrombone beat me to the Cable/Deadpool note.

My memory is fuzzy on this but I think in the 70s there had been a Bullpen Bulletins announcement about Black Widow getting her own title. Instead she got cover billing with Daredevil. Were Daredevil sales bad enough that the book was about to be cancelled which explains adding Black Widow to the cover? Same question about adding Falcon to the Capt. America title?

Here in Britain, with anthology titles, "hatch match and despatch" was the norm. Take Buster comic for example. It merged with...
