 Published: April 1996 Synopsis: A brief synopsis of Usagi's backstory Notes: Though originally published at the beginning of Usagi Yojimbo (v.3) #1, this story was moved up to the beginning of Book 10, ahead of the final issues of Usagi Yojimbo volume 2. For the Saga editions, the story was again moved up to appear at the beginning of Usagi Yojimbo Saga volume 1. Discuss the issue and/or post full reviews below! |

This was a nice recap and the art was beautiful. If I could get one print from Stan it would be the page from this story of Usagi in his straw hat watching a butterfly as it sums up in a single image what I love about the book. Maybe he'll have it with him when he comes to Boston this summer.
