Published: February 1997 Synopsis: Jei and Keiko decide to take a boat. On board, many of the crew are clowning around and eliciting laughs, but Jei proves to be the one who really "kills" them all. Notes: This backup story originally published in volume 3 #10 has no relationship to the backup story in volume #1 #10 by the same name, which was done by Peter Laird and is not considered to be in official Usagi continuity nor reprinted in any collected editions. I'm not a big fan of Jei but I really liked the ending where he just calmly walks off the ship and allows the lone porter to discover the bodies afterwards.

I think Jei is an awesome villain. I always look forward to seeing more of him. The fights between him and Usagi have been some of the best action in the series, and his motivation is interesting.

It definitely had a Dracula feel to it which I loved.
