Here is the poster I did for the Salon del Comic International de Granada. There will also be an exhibition of my work. Unfortunately, the original dates had to be changed because of a conflict at the Convention Center. I will be speaking at the Charles Schulz Museum in Santa Rosa on the new dates so had to cancel our trip to Spain. The Salon very graciously extended their invitation for next year.

I'm becoming increasingly aware of just how much of a presence Usagi has in foreign countries (and the new section at the original Dojo is certainly proof of this!). I wonder approximately what percentage of Usagi's readership is outside of the United States at this point. I also wonder if Usagi has a readership in Japan.

Julie and I had been quite disappointed that we could not make it to Granada right after our trip to the UK however, not that we're back, we're glad to be going next year instead of this. We were able to take a side trip to Paris to visit Galerie Genat and pick up the Katsuhiro Otomo tribute book for which I did an illustration (though I missed the exhibit in Angouleme and will miss the one in Paris). Frankly, we would have been exhausted if we had gone to Granada. Now we have a trip to look forward to next year.
