The Emerald City Comic Convention is just four short weeks away, which means it's time to announce the details of our annual CBR/CCF NW get-together. As was the case last year, we aren't doing anything formal but a bunch of us are getting together for dinner

Last year, alas, we chose an inappropriate venue but I've done my due diligence this year. The food and facilities at the Lucky Diner is comparable in quality, quantity and price to our beloved gone-but-never forgotten Hurricane Cafe, it's not too much further from the Seattle Convention Center, and, yes, there’s a bar!
Rob Allen and yours truly will once again be your jovial hosts and, as always, significant others, spouses and well-behaved children are more than welcome. So come join us for some good eats, geek cameraderie and post-convention frivolity. You'll be glad you did.
