Decap Attack was fun. My favorite Genesis game was Zombies Ate My Neighbors, which was a total hoot. Sadly, that one never appears on the big compilations for some reason. They've got a bundle of Zombies Ate My Neighbors and Ghoul Patrol (it's sequel) on all the major modern platforms for $15. Haunting: Starring Polterguy is one that I rarely see talked about. You're a teenage ghoul trying to scare the bajesus out of a family who inadvertently ended your life

I started playing The Turing Test, a similar format to Portal whereas you are a human character in a futuristic sci-fi setting solving puzzles while talking to an AI trying to unravel a story, but far more serious in tone and without the humor. It feels like a movie inspired by the classic authors, e.g. Asimov, Heinlein, etc, without quite reaching their heights. So far, it's pretty good. I found The Talos Principle far more engrossing for something with a similar concept. You also solve puzzles to progress and unlock snippets of the backstory. The story in The Turing Test is interesting. The story bits in The Talos Principle were RIVETING. I was driven to find more and unlock every scrap. Still, having multiple good sci fi games is a good thing! Have you played The Room?
I liked Portal but there was one puzzle that I am just not dextrous enough to complete, so I am at a standstill. Not sure if I should just move on to the second game.

Does it come with the option to switch it to Probotector? Also been thinking about busting out my Sega Genesis and Everdrive cart to play some Streets Of Rage (never much cared for 2, despite the gameplay improvements) and Decap Attack
I know that two of the included games are Probotector games if that is what you mean. Replying to a few above, wishing for a multi-quote option: Outer Worlds was thoroughly okay. Good enough to finish but not good enough to remember much of or want more. It seemed like it wanted to be a Fallout game with a little Borderlands mixed in, but didn't have the sheer inspiration of either of those series. Talos Principle was terrific. I put it aside for something else partway through, because as much as I love logic puzzles, that kind of thing is hard to marathon, but I really need to get back to it sometime. Turing Test sounds like something I should check out. Decap Attack was fun. My favorite Genesis game was Zombies Ate My Neighbors, which was a total hoot. Sadly, that one never appears on the big compilations for some reason. Currently playing Tales from Arise as my main "story" game, and dipping into Train Sim World 2 when I just feel like chilling while driving a train. Yeah, Outer Worlds is...fine. It's like a less interesting Fallout in space. I loved Talos Principle. I found the backstory so so so so good it was worth the puzzles, but I agree a few got to be too much. I admit I busted out a guide a few times because I'm playing for fun, not to beat my head against the wall and prove anything to anyone. I have since finished Turing Test. I enjoyed it, but Talos Principle was much better I thought. I was pretty frustrated by the end and used a guide for half the levels of the final area because I was ready to be done. Still worth checking out if you like games like that. Have you played The Room?

I think I played it on the iPhone back in the day and I enjoyed it. If not it in particular, I have definitely played and enjoyed similar games. I remember the Portal games having some tricky parts to be sure. Definitely harder if you're playing on a controller versus mouse and keyboard.

Yeah, The Room games were phone ports, although they redid all the graphics and the look really amazing on PC. The first one was my favorite but I enjoyed them all and hope they make more.
I play with keyboard and mouse. I just can't manage to flip myself around, fire the portal onto the right surface (I know which one it is before I jump, but in freefall it's hard to get my bearings) and then aim myself through it. There might even be two portals you have to make while falling, it's been a long time since I played it.

I think I remember that level, and yes, it was a pain in the butt.

I just can't do it!

Huh, I don't remember having to do one multiple times in a row like that. Yes, that looks annoying.

Playing the Crysis trilogy on the Switch is surreal. The games may all be old at this point, but still, to have Crysis looking this good and running this well on a handheld device that is itself almost 5 years old is remarkable.

I played Crysis years ago but never finished it. I should give it another try.

I couldn't get into Crysis the first time. I don't know why. I didn't like how the AI felt. I may try again someday.

Both Minecraft and Animal Crossing have major updates coming. I'm an extremely casual gamer, but this is shaking my family's world in the best of ways.

I hadn't played Minecraft in years until recently with someone I met on discord, and there is so much more content and so many things that have changed. But at least fishing is pretty much the same. The improvements on it, I like. There's times before I've logged on to just relax and fish and/or farm.

The rest of the family builds fortresses, levels up, and starts making Netherack Armor while she fishes us the best bows and spellbooks.

After my disappointment with Square Enix Avengers game, I wasn't going to get their Guardians of the Galaxy, but posters at PA convinced me to get it and it's basically everything I wanted from the Avengers. It's heavily influenced by the movies, but not completely and filled with little nods and guest appearances by Marvel Characters. I'm still early in, but so far I've seen Peter Quill having a Dazzler poster in his cabin. It also allowed me to put Peter in his Annihilation: Conquest uniform right at the beginning.
It's pure Single Player, no DLC or multiplayer add-on and it's most like Eidos Tomb Raider or Naughty Dog Uncharted.
