Thought you guys might enjoy this YouTube channel, one of my favorites.
Comic Trips is Paul and Kat, a hilariously funny couple on a quest for 80's and 90's toys and comics.
They tend to find some really cool stuff, and come away with some awesome hauls. They also appeared on Comic Book Men recently.
If you are looking for a good comic hunting channel check them out!

When I was their age and single, I would often spend days roadtripping to find comics shops and such, so that hit a bit of a nostalgic chord. Not sure I would survive long in a car with the hosts though -M

Yeah, I tend to skip most of the car talk, just like to see the stuff in the stores and their hauls.
A bit jealous at how the East Coast is so rich in these small little toy and comic stores.
I'm in the middle of California, would have to drive 3 hours to L.A. or 5 to S.F. to find anything close to these kind of stores. Must be nice!

Sadly, I've been sucked in and watched about a half dozen of these episodes between yesterday and today.

I continue to work my way through watching these-on season 3 now. Recognized some people I know-saw Victor Dandrige-a local creator form around here doing his thing at Wizard World Chicago when they did their video for there.
They also turned me on to 2nd & Charles which they visit in 2 of their episodes, and a quick Google search revealed there is one not too far from me in the greater Dayton area which I plan on trekking down to either this weekend or next week.
I've warmed to the hosts as the series continues even, I know a lot of folks just like Paul & Kat and their enthusiasm is endearing even if I scratch my head at some of the stuff they buy, but seeing people find their own bliss even if it's not mine is one of the great things about this fershulugging hobby of ours.

Yeah that 2nd & Charles store looks AMAZING. I so wish I had a place like that in my area.

So made my way through all 37 webisodes and subscribed to the channel (the first youtube channel I ever subscribed to). The one you linked is the next to last episode up so far, but it is cool to watch the show grow and improve as it goes. Paul and Kat also grew on me, when I watched Ep 36 the firs time as an intro, I kind of felt there was a lot of inside jokes I wasn't getting, but having watched from the beginning a lot of it made more sense and resonated more, which overcame some of my initial doubts if I could survive a road trip with them. They have a lot of passion and enthusiasm for what they do, which is great, even if their tastes in stuff differ form mine in a lot of ways.
But summer is coming and they have reignited my desire for the thrill of the hunt, so I may take some opportunities to go looking a bit more around here. 2nd and Charles is on the docket for tomorrow or Tuesday.

I am actually excited to see Season 5. I bought a couple of raffle tickets form them to help fund their epic journey too. They will be in Ohio and if they are near me on a day I can make a road trip, I might swing out to say hi. I really have come to enjoy the web-series a lot and it's inspired me to seek out some more out of the way places here in Ohio I never bothered to check out before. We will see how my own hunting trips go as the spring and summer progress.

AWESOME!!!
Wow, look at that table. Amazing stuff.
Friendly laughing at the two dudes in the middle, the looks on their faces remind me of villains hovering over a massive pile of gold. They know what they got.
No doubt about it...Paul is really crying in that picture.
Good stuff!~

The new season, featuring footage form their grand cross country adventure starts today. Watched Season 5 Episode 1 already, and the first shop they stop at in Maryland is pretty amazing.

This week's webisode took them to Chuck's Mile High Warehouse in Denver. They get a tour from the man himself, it's an interesting look behind the curtain of Mile High Comics...just be prepared for some sticker shock...

Thank you for introducing me to this. I am into flea market and small shop finds but find most you tube reviews boring or too over the top. This is a great balance for me. I have watched the first 5 episodes and can not wait to catch up.
