Do you have any comics that you strongly associate with a record, that you read while listening to it on repeat? I know I have. I'm not talking about what you htink would be a good match but what you actually connected through your own experience of it. When I first discovered Sandman in 1991 in its swedish serialization, I was also discovering Joy Division with their "Closer" LP. It was a match made in heaven IMHO, and incidently, issue #6 introduced a character wearing a Joy Division Jacket! Here's that whole issue in online PDFs, best horror comic ever for many : Sandman #6 - "24 Hours"

Yes. Didn't think anyone else would ever have experienced this. Two associations stand out immediately. Was reading cover to cover an excellent collection, The Celebrated Cases of Dick Tracy, which I received at Christmas, 1973 and which I read to the accompaniment of Jackson Browne's "For Everyman" album after I'd seen him in concert with Linda Ronstadt in February of '74. Also, for some odd reason, I remember reading this comic: to the accompaniment of Blood, Sweat and Tears 4, particularly the song "Holy John." I think I bought both on the same day, some time in July, 1971.

Great question.
When I hear Cowboy Song by Thin Lizzy I associate it with the El Diablo stories drawn by Neal Adams in Weird Western Tales.

Yeah, Fantasy Masterpieces #14 that reprinted the final Chapter to the Magus saga( Warlock #11) is forever linked with Stevie Wonders Master Blaster.

Blue Oyster Cult Demon Hunter Rich Buckler (Don't Fear) The Reaper Atlas/Seaboard And didn't David Anthony Kraft write a Defenders story that was connected somehow to a particular Blue Oyster Cult album or song? It's been so long I can't remember the specifics right now. edit: looked it up on comics.org - it was: Defenders #58 ("Agents of Fortune") Defenders #59 ("Tyranny and Mutation") Defenders #60 ("The Revenge of Vera Gemini").

Rammstein's Reise Reise with Namor That's a disturbing video. I hope it wasn't the band's official one.

One time years ago, I was reading Thor while listening to a Gustav Mahler symphony.

Prince Hal beat me to the punch. For myself, I always associate Doctor Strange #13 with the Robin Trower album Bridge of Sighs, just because I happened to be really into that record and was listening to it the night I went out and bought that comic and brought it back and read it:

Sandman and Joy Division sounds like a great mix. Lately I've been reading Evil Ernie comics while listening to Iron Maiden. So Metal! If I have to pick an album I'd go with their self-titled debut.

When I was reading the LSH storyline where each member of the Legion of Super-Villains takes a vow to kill an LSH member, I was listening to "Fire of Unknown Origin" and "Cultosaurus Erectus" a lot. Blue Oyster Cult.
It's the five-part story where Karate Kid is killed.
Especially the song "Vengeance: The Pact."
I think of Blue Oyster Cult A LOT when I read the Legion of Super-Heroes because of this association.
The opposite is not true (except for "Vengeance: The Pact"). I'm not sure which Legion adventure I would expect to pop into my mind when listening to "Joan Crawford." (Although Joan might have made a great Emerald Empress, now that I think about it.)

More generally, I associate the Moody Blues with Doctor Strange as a character, because I was into their music a lot at the same time I was getting into Englehart's run on that series, especially the Seventh Sojourn album:
