I still check the "Classics etc" board there in case someone who might like this place shows up. I have the CCF address in my location and my signature.
On the Community board I do the cover contest, read the funny threads (the GIF one is good), keep an eye on the LGBT and Minorities threads, and read the news & politics thread regularly. The ongoing "crazy/stupid Republican of the day" series in that thread is pure gold - I'm amazed that no one on the Democratic side is mining that thread. Maybe they are and are just keeping quiet. And yes, he does do crazy/stupid Democrats when he finds them.

I was gonna stick with. . if you can't say something nice. . . . but this really does kinda sum things up for me too. I was around since Kingdom Come Green/Purple & Orange/Purple word balloons. . .left with Gail over to Jinxworld without looking back, then came back 2 years ago. . before finding here and quitting there completely (after being temp banned. . for the first time EVER. . for calling out a troll, whom the mod was happy to let continue trolling). oh well. . . good for Jonah, but haven't been back there in a while at this point anyways. |

Yeah, I added the virtually just before posting as I realized I had no contact with most mods, just the ones in charge after the reboot. |

I'll never understand why CBR acted so hesitantly in allowing the old Classics forum to continue. It was like pulling teeth and when they finally addressed the situation, they made it into a Frankenstein monster by grafting another forum with it (two different ones if I recall-independents then collected editions). Just give me the feeling of not being wanted, sniff sniff

If one of the most laid back guys in here even got banned over there ..... glad I never rejoined. After the reboot I got several warnings for...you'd have to ask the mods, then posted complaining about the current draconian atmosphere, which of course got me banned. They don't care for criticism. I realize the actions that caused the reboot were deplorable and the people in charge were understandably panicked, but how about going after the posters who were sending the threatening messages (with well-deserved legal action) rather than clamping down on people just there to talk Doctor Who and Walking Dead and who wins in a fight between Superman and Thor...? |

I talked with Jonah on the phone when I lived in L.A. and he invited me to come down sometime, but never got there darn it.
Hate what happened with the meltdown, but am glad for the sale.
