Synopsis: Usagi's sensei, Katsuichi, has led a remarkable life, but some of his choices would leave many samurai questioning his judgment. "Bells" recounts a formative event in young Katsuichi's life when, as a student, he courted the daughter of the master of a rival sword school. Katsuichi's pursuit of the girl does not sit well with Ikyu, the proud senior instructor who intends to marry her and inherit her family's school!
