It looks interesting, I just wish I had enjoyed anything by Way that I've sampled over the years because I haven't so his involvement is a bit of a turn off for me.

I thought this meant Krypto getting his own book. Or Schatzi getting resurrected. Or at least Super-Turtle done right. I'm still waiting

Umbrella Accademy was one of the most overrated books I ever read. If not for the pleasant art, I don't even think I would have made it to the end. That being said, I have no prejudice against Way, just the fact that his first book wasn't good. But then again, this was only his first... This all looks... Not that exciting.  I might try the last book on account Of Tommy Lee Edwards... I just wish they'd give Milligan a great artist and let him loose again. |

This is like the original Vertigo incorporating DC superheroes; all great by me.
I'm in for all 4.
Vertigo is more non-superhero / genre like Image, which is fine, but this sounds so good.
Cave Carson could be very cool, in a very surprising way like Morrison reinvented Animal Man way.
Mother Panic sounds the least interesting but I'll give it a shot.
Doom Patrol and Shade are both pure DC greatness I can't wait to read again.

I can't remember ever reading anything by Way (I did read his Edge of Spider-Verse issue, but can't remember anything about it, which may or may not be a good sign), but for the first time in years I'm actually somewhat interested in something DC are publishing* - I'll give Doom Patrol and Shade a go, at least.
(* I'm 95% sure they'll screw it up, but that's a lot better odds than I'd give most of their line!)

Man, this already makes me miss the Arcudi 22 issues Doom Patrol series. It was such a blast and had exciting art throughout.   Huat came out of nowhere and went on to win the Russ Manning award straight away! Seth Fisher was on fill-in duty, quite the best you could hope for!  |

Kind of a weird name for the line. It feels like they're trying to manufacture a resurgence of the early days of Vertigo but forgot about the years spent building the audience before it became its own line. I'll at least check out Doom Patrol and maybe Cave Carson.

I can't afford to start new singles. I'll probably get Doom Patrol and Cave Carson in trade eventually because I like Umbrella Academy, but don't recognize the other writers names offhand.
