A new issue of Lobster Johnson was released last week! Did anyone else read it?
I really enjoyed it. There were few good twists and turns to the story and the art was great; I'd like to see Peter Snejbjerg do more work on this title in the future. I liked the connection to a previous story, which I was not expecting.
I always enjoy reading the Lobster's pulp hero dialogue.
I really can't wait for Metal Monsters of Midtown. That's my most anticipated comic in years. I love the one-shots like The Forgotten Man, but there's nothing I enjoy more than Lobster Johnson illustrated by Tonci Zonjic.

Yes, it was great, Snejbjerg is always a treat. I'm tired of Zonjic and was considering not getting the upcoming LJ books, but as loog as Snejbjerg is on board, I'm in as well. And a little less stand alones and more continuity would also draw me in further. I'm getting every single Mignolaverse books, even Lord Baltimore which stands outside that 'verse, but while LJ remains a pleasant read, it also is the least involving.

The Lobster is always a fun read and this was no different but the one I'm really excited for is Metal Monsters of Midtown, it reminds me of Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow which is one of my favorite movies.
