A big budget, dark spectacle based on Alan Moore's run on the series.
I'll always have a soft spot for Wes Craven's movie from the early 80's, but it was pretty cheesy even for back then.
I remember reading something a couple years ago that Guillermo del Toro was really interested in doing this, but I guess he never received the support that he needed. Which is a damn shame.
Personally, I think the standard superhero films are getting pretty repetitive at this point. Would love something a little different and slightly off the beaten path.
Can already picture the exchange on the big screen between Swamp Thing and Arcane in Hell, and it's glorious.
