Daffy Duck is awesome! Probably in my top five. I'd forgotten all about And and Aardvark. I remember them from The Pink Panther Show. I'm glad you like Daffy Duck and surprisingly many people that I talked to - don't remember Ant and the Aardvark at all and I was shocked to learned this 5-10 years ago.

#4 Roadrunner and Wile E Coyote Created By: Looney Tunes ProductionsFrom Me: There is NO #5 on my list because both of these characters deserved to be ranked at #4 together! From WikipediaWile E. Coyote (also known simply as "The Coyote") and The Road Runner are a duo of characters from the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies series of cartoons. In the cartoons, Coyote repeatedly attempts to catch and subsequently eat the Road Runner, a fast-running ground bird, but is never successful. Coyote, instead of his species' animal instincts, uses absurdly complex contraptions (sometimes in the manner of Rube Goldberg) and elaborate plans to pursue his prey, which always comically backfire with Wile normally getting injured by the slapstick humor. To date, 48 cartoons have been made featuring these characters (including the three CGI shorts), the majority by Chuck Jones. From Me: 48 Cartoons together - made them legendary! RoadrunnerWile E. CoyoteMy Personal ThoughtsThese two characters together formed an impressive duo of having 48 cartoons together in their long history of battling each other like crazy, they are the most beloved duo that's charmed it's way into Animation History of their legendary chases that lead Wile E. Coyote to his ultimate downfall and demise that's been used over and over again with one goal in mind to entertain millions of cartoon fans around the world. I just don't have the right words to describe them but in sense they were so incredible together and having said that I just can't begin where to start. I will be sharing two of my favorite cartoons shortly and every where I go back in the 60's and on up - all my friends just can't stop talking about them. My family alone always take a time off watching these cartoons back in those days and I always monitored the Television when this cartoon comes up and it's my Dad's Favorite Cartoon of all time. It's hilarious, wackiness at the extreme levels, full of comedy and laughter, and one of the most action oriented cartoon of all time that doesn't need a good script to make it work. I'm in loss of words trying to describe them and knowing everyone else that I've talked to they were the best of their game and these two are so amazing together that literally charmed your way in total laughter that's contagious. Roadrunner and Wile E. CoyoteThey were pure comedic genius and one of the best there is ...

Wow, what were people doing when they were kids. I haven't seen it in years, but I do remember Aardvark's deadpan, monotone voice. That stuck with me, even though I have a lousy memory.

I love Wile E. Coyote, but I've never cared for the Roadrunner. To me, he pretty much has no personality. However, the first comic I ever owned was a Roadrunner comic, and he spoke in that, and he was pretty cool.

#3 Pink Panther Created By: DePatie-Freleng/United ArtistsFrom WikipediaPink Panther is a fictional animated character who appeared in the opening and closing credit sequences of every film in the Pink Panther series except for A Shot in the Dark and Inspector Clouseau. In the storyline of the original film, "the Pink Panther" was the name of a valuable pink diamond; in the animated credits this was humorously translated to a "real" pink panther. The character's popularity spawned a series of theatrical shorts, merchandise, a comic book, and television cartoons. He starred in 124 short films, 10 television shows and three prime time specials. The character is closely associated with the evocative Pink Panther Theme. In an early series of Pink Panther animated cartoons, the Panther generally remained silent, speaking only in two theatrical shorts, Sink Pink and Pink Ice. Rich Little provided the Panther's voice in the latter shorts, modelling it on that of David Niven (who had portrayed Clouseau's jewel thief nemesis in the original live-action film). My Personal ThoughtsFor being hard of hearing this cartoon did not have much voices and that's the beauty of this cartoon that uses visual images to the fullest of impact making it one of the most visually orientated cartoons of all time. I just can't describe my sheer joy watching these cartoons and every family members will watch this cartoon on our lunch hour in the sixties when it's came on at 11:30 in the morning until 12:30 in the afternoon seeing so many wonderful characters such as Ant and the Aardvark and others too. The Pink Panther is legendary and I've mean legendary of the many wonderful cartoons that they made at that time. I'm totally lost at words of how they made this cartoon so well and all the fun things that they did with it. Pink Panther is one of those determined characters that constantly wins it's battles and forever frustrates his foes with a charm of it's own and I just can't put a finger on it. You have to concertrate on watching the little things that goes into the cartoon itself and that's alone made it very special thing to watch and I have one example of that in the cartoon "G.I. Pink" that I'll be sharing shortly. "Supermarket Pink" is another fine example and you have to spend extra attention to the small things that made it great. I love Pink Panther Cartoons!
