Looks like Future Quest #1 has sold out at Diamond and is going to a2nd printing, available the day #2 comes out. Good sign for potential viability of the book.

Wow, the way Parker made all these characters and concepts feel connected, like they've always been like this and we've just never noticed till now. Excellent job.
Shaner's art? Equally amazing. These characters have never looked so good.

I've got, but still haven't read the Future Quest one. I have read the Scooby Doo one, and was wildly unimpressed.

Like I tend to do with most everything DC, I'll give them all a try. DC will always be my "bread and butter" comic's publisher, regardless of how much I gush over silver and bronze age Marvel

Man, I loved Wacky Racerland, I wasn't sure about the concept of mixing the racers with Mad Max but it was hilarious.

Liked the concept, and some of the character designs, but didn't much like the art; haven't really read it properly yet either, just skimmed the first few pages.
Feels slightly weird that both Muttley and Scooby Doo are both sort-of Robo-dogs, in their respective books.
Actually, thinking about it, it just struck me - are those two books both set in the same post-apocalyptic world?

No idea if they are or not, but what little I read of Scooby Doo didn't interest me in the least; it seemed to play it straight as if the "new concept" was just a normal thing for the mystery gang where as Wacky Raceland really shot for the moon and never looked back. It has the feeling of a weird 90's Vertigo book rather than a straight adaptation of Wacky Racers, which works for me.

I read Scooby Apocalypse this afternoon. It was...interesting. It was certainly a different take on the Scooby gang. Not usually a big fan of Porter's art, but it worked here and the Giffen/DeMatteis mojo was there under the surface, but it all didn't quite gel yet. I might give #2 a chance, not sure yet, will have to flip through it to see.
Also picked up Wacky Raceland #1 today, but haven't read it yet.

Read it, liked it quite a bit. I generally like Manco's art, but sometimes it is so busy and filled with pencil & ink that the colorist obscures things if they are not careful, making it look muddied. This is one of those times unfortunately. Digital coloring works best with lots of large white spaces left open for them to fill-Manco doesn't work like that, his work is filled and textured and has very little blank negative space for fills and gradients like modern colorists use, and the colorist didn't seem to adjust to Manco's style well. The layouts, storytelling, and design of the art in panels and pages is typically strong Manco, but he and the colorist didn't seem to mesh here and it made for a bit of a muddied read artistically for me. I'm still on board for a while though as that was my only complaint.

Have now read Wacky Raceland and it's decent - I wouldn't go overboard on it, but it's good enough to come back for more. Still not fond of the art, though he and the colorist didn't seem to mesh here and it made for a bit of a muddied read artistically for me. Yeah, that.

Advisory on Future Quest #3This is not good. Issue #2 will be out 7 weeks after the first issue and now #3 has a fill in issue. More Steve Rude and Herculoids is a good thing, but I'm worried about the future.

More Steve Rude and Herculoids is a good thing, but I'm worried about the future. This series better go at least 20 issues!! Tons of stuff to be explored. Something like Scooby Doo or the Flintstones pushing this off the map would piss me off to no end. This is the comic that I dreamed about as a kid. And Parker delivered in spades in the first issue.
