I've never seen Liefeld feet look better.

I saw on ComicsBeat that Liefeld based it on this photo of Arnold, without any knowledge of anatomy or understanding of the human figure.

Hot on the heels of their Eerie bundle, Humble Bundle now has a Creepy bundle. This gives you all 29 Archives volumes reprinting the entire 145-issue Warren run; four artist-centric collections focusing on Alex Toth, Bernie Wrightson, Richard Corben, and Steve Ditko; and four TPB collections from the Dark Horse revival series. The supported charity is The Hero Initiative.
Dare we hope for an upcoming Vampirella bundle to complete the set?

Never mind the original drawing, I really want the variant exclusive for the new Captain America #1

I like Liefeld, which is not the same as liking all his art. He'll never be my favorite artist, but he does have a fun energy. And he has a real and unabashed enthusiasm for comics. He also doesn't mind a laugh at his own expense, including the infamous Cap piece which he agrees is not his best work. Energy spent hating on him would be better directed elsewhere.

I like Rob a lot for exactly that fun energy and enthusiasm you mentioned. By extension it’s kind of why I love 90’s comics so much, warts and all. It may have felt like amateur hour in many instances, but somewhere along the way in the 80’s I felt like comics started to take themselves too seriously. Rob bringing that fanboy fun was kind of refreshing honestly even if his art wasn’t remotely the second coming of Perez. Plus he co-created Deadpool, he gets tons of points for me on that alone.

I don't have anything against Leifeld himself -- I dislike his artwork immensely, but that's OK...I just avoid it. But I do feel slightly annoyed that he achieved such a huge degree of fame and wealth, while other much more talented comic book artists didn't get anywhere near the same degree of financial reward or fan admiration. That's not really on Leifeld though, that's more a comment on the comics industry and comic fans. Life's not fair, as we all know.

Looks like I missed the one last year. Lots of stuff I’ve heard good things about and want to read, but of course my backlog is 57 years long…

In addition to a crippling backlog of physical books/comics to read, thanks to a few of those Humble Bundle deals I also have a virtual stack of digital reading material as well. Even so, I'm still tempted by this one because there's quite a few that look interesting, esp. Omni and Ignited - which I recall getting some positive buzz a few years ago.

As much as I like physical comics, I'm finding myself more grateful for digital ones as well, because I have no idea where the hell I'd put everything I've got if it were all physical.

Many artists were content by staying in a business that throws them away when they're no longer " hot". It was the perfect storm and they went for it. You notice that none of the big 2 promote their artists anymore, They feel they got burned by what happened when they left.

Dark Horse Digital is 50% off everything for Cyber Monday, but then add code THANKS for another 50% off, so 75% off total.
