I hope Most Wanted not being picked up will mean Bobbi and Hunter will return to Agents of SHIELD in some capacity.

Ditto, though their exit was pretty scorched earth

I wouldn't write them off yet, because Coulson has shown that he is willing to do pretty much anything in order to accomplish his goals. They will be back unless the actors get cast in something else, because they were popular (Bobbi moreso, but you can at least put me strongly in Hunter's fan camp) and with at least one agent slated to die in the Season 3 finale, the cast will be slimmed down and depending who is gone, those characters could fill the team role (if May is the one that dies, Bobbi could easily slot into her place as "bad-ass female", and if it is Mack, Hunter could take his slot on the team).
The other thing they could do with those two is how Game of Thrones handles things, where their story is told in parallel with the main story and then eventually dovetails when the time makes sense to do so.

Agent Carter is the only show that I really like and I've might be in the minority here - but I really loved that show!

My wife is pretty bummed out that Agent Carter isn't coming back. She likes AoS, but she really loved Agent Carter, although the first season was far stronger than the second.

Word is also that season 4 is the last season for Agents of SHIELD, it will hit the 88 episode mark for syndication purposes, and after that done.
ABC is pretty much cleaning house on all their shows-Muppets and Castle also got the axe, as well as a slew of others. Apparently they are bleeding money on their primetime slate and cutting costs everywhere. Shows with large, SFX budgets, large casts, or that have run a while and therefore have higher cast salaries are particular targets.

That's too bad.. Agent Carter was definitely my and my daughter's favorite out of the current slate of Superhero shows. They did a great job with the period, and, while the 2nd mini-series was not as good as the first, it was still a fun show to watch.

That's sad about Agent Carter. It was a good filler for when Agents of Shield was on break. I hope they will at least do an Agent Carter movie just to close out that last cliffhanger. I really hate it when a show gets canceled before the cliffhanger is resolved. Kind of makes you not want to watch TV cause a lot of dramas & SciFi shows are done like that now.

(...) and with at least one agent slated to die in the Season 3 finale, (...) Say it ain't so! I like them all... (well, the old ones at least. The new guys could be bumped off without me feeling too bad, although they certainly deserve their chance to develop a little).

I wouldn't be sorry to lose Lincoln at all; I wouldn't be happy to lose any of the others.

The new guys could be bumped off without me feeling too bad, although they certainly deserve their chance to develop a little). Not a spoiler, but they've been talking it up for at least half a season that someone will die in the season finale. With the budget constraints that the show is probably going to be put under just to get it through season 4 and into syndication, it would make sense to start paring down the cast of regulars. Clark Gregg isn't going anywhere nor is Chloe Bennet, but after those two, it's anyone's guess. Also, I'd imagine after 2 seasons as the Big Bad that Brett Dalton is probably on his way out as well, because it would be too cartoony to have him back again. I can't think of a single other serialized show where the bad guy stayed the same season after season, not even a Whedon show. And I'm with you, Simon Garth: Lincoln can take the dirt nap for all I care. He's whiny and uninteresting.
