Has anyone here ever had a letter published in Usagi Yojimbo? I never have, but I did send one in recently. Maybe that will show up in an upcoming issue.

That is an awesome commission. So much detail. I have been fortunate to be published three times in the letter column. Stan requested a few years back for people to write or email in their letters because they didn't have enough to publish a letter page, if I recall correctly. So I think your chances of being published are pretty good.  . |

I also have had one letter published. When I saw it in print, I went back to the comic shop owner and requested he order me 4 more copies of issue #135 (return of the lord of the owls). I had never had a letter published so that was a pretty big deal to me, especially since Usagi is my favorite book. I then had Stan sign the copies when I saw him at Planet Comic Con in Kansas City last year.
I recently sent in another letter so in a couple months I may have to make another request to my local comic shop owner for a couple extra copies:D

I love that in this day and age of techno marvels, they still consider having a letters page. It's just something about reading another fan's response/thoughts in that fashion that makes it seem all the more unique and satisfying. (I'm old-fashioned apparently...as well as showing my age  ). I think I've had two letters printed so far. |
