I am looking for info on Sgt. Rock and Warlord toys from the 80s specifically, but more recent stuff too. I vaguely remember Remco had a line of 3 3/4 inch Sgt. Rock figures and and larger (8 inch?) line of Warlord toys-I remember seeing ads on comic back covers and seeing them in places like K-Mart, but they were released at a time where finances were rough for our family and buying toys wasn't an option, so I never paid much attention to them. I've also heard rumblings of some 12 inch GI Joe style Rock figures as well.
Lately I have been getting into vintage toys a bit more and I'm curious about these lines and was wondering if anyone had checklists or links to sites that had more info on these toy lines, or other toys featuring the characters that might have been released without me noticing.

I renember the adds in the comics and I have the warlord. They're very similar to he-man in scale design and appearance.

I have the Remco Warlord, too. As batlaw says, basically the same as the original He-Man figures. As I recall, I also used to have Deimos and Machiste, as well as Hercules who was a part of the same line. I think Arak, Son of Thunder was, too, but I never got him.

I had the Warlord toys and, like tingramretro said, they ended up integrated into my Masters of the Universe collection. I had no idea who Warlord was at the time and didn't even understand that it was his figure line. I think I thought it was Hercules'.

Never even saw them in a store. Remco wasn't exactly top of the line, when it came to action figures. They also produced wrestling figures for the Minneapolis-based AWA pro wrestling promotion, including the Road Warriors and Nature Boy Ric Flair. It seemed like their distribution was more in places like Kay-Bee Hobby, than more mainstream toy and department stores.
I've seen a few pictures of the GI Joe Rock figures. They also did a few Blackhawk, as I have seen a picture of one for the villain Miss Fear.

I still adore the Remco Universal Monsters figures. Still wish I'd had the playset.

The Road Warriors, the High Flyers (Jim Brunzell and Greg Gagne), Rick Martel and Baron Von Rashke... Rashke was a favorite of 10 year old me because his hand was in the 'claw' position.

I used to see the Warlord and Sgt. Rock figures in department stores all the time in the early-mid 80s, most often K-Mart and Caldors. I haven't seen many in the wild since I started paying attention to the vintage toy market earlier this year, but have seen one or two here and there loose and in very rough shape.

I remember seeing them at K-mart and the Warlord figures joined up with my Masters of the Universe characters (along with characters from Filmation's Blackstar). The Sgt. Rock figures were similar to GI Joe, if I am remembering them correctly.
