I ran across this in JLA #19. I guess this phrase was better known fifty years ago? I have heard that phrase in similar circumstances. Despite what the internet would have you believe, it didn't originate with Edward James Olmos. It's not an uncommon variation on amen, "So be it" or "So let it be." |
