PThere seem to be a bug with the site as each time I quote someone, it publishes the quote without my answer. I have to come back and edit it each time...
As I click on "quote", I get the preview window (not the BBCode), then when I post, it loads the message without my answer and automaticly opens the "load draft" window...

Hmmm, it's becoming worse : I can't even edit my posts anymore. When I do, the message stays the same when "saved with changes"

Interesting. What browser and operating system are you using? Is anyone else experiencing these symptoms?

I'm using Firefox. It worked fine until today. I don't know if this helps but right when I click on quote edit, the OG message turns up in BBCode for a fraction of a second before it stabilizes in "preview" mode.

I've given up trying to use Preview mode; I do everything in BBCode. There's a way to make BBCode the default but I don't recall how to do it.

I've brought the issue to Proboards support. Hopefully, we'll see it resolved tonight.

FYI, there's a poster named tex1272 who regularly posts in my SW review thread who appears to be having the exact same problem as Arthur Gordon Scratch. I've had to edit his last two posts to make them display properly. There's definitely something funny going on with certain users when they quote.

The issue with Arthur was resolved a while back by proboards support. I wasn't involved in the full conversation, but I believe it was his browser's cache causing the trouble. |
