Is it just me, or did CBR really turn the annoying ads up to 11 all of a sudden?

I was with you until you said all of a sudden, they've been turned up to 11 for about a year now and I don't go to the main page anymore, just read the headlines in my inbox and click directly to any article I may want to see more of. -M

Definitely going to be buying Hellblazer now if they're jumping right into a Swamp Thing story.

Only looked at Dark Horse so far:
Rushkoff's Aleister Crowley thing might be interesting but I'm not a great fan of Oeming's style.
Curious about the Ranx collection, I saw bits and pieces of it in the old Heavy Metal but not enough to know have a strong opinion or to develop a taste for Liberatore's distinctive artwork. Would prefer to see a cheap soft cover edition.
Lemire's Black Hammer seems like it could have potential but I'd have to hear/see more before committing.
Might get the 2nd Rook volume for the Gulacy artwork if I like the look of the first one, which I haven't seen yet.

Maybe my internet was just struggling.

Luckily I have script-block on for anything but trusted sites (a status CBR has lost some time ago.)
Image: Singles: Descender, The Fix, Fairyland, Lazarus, Monstress Trades: Wicked and the Divine (looking forward to this one), East of West vol 6.
Marvel: Singles: Captain Marvel (hope it isn't too Civil War II connected), Mockingbird (maybe, kinda on the fence right now. I like it, but I like other titles more), Moon Girl, Moon Knight, Black Panther, Dr. Strange (regular + annual), Vote Loki (still on the fence on that one. I liked things about #1) Trades: A Dr. Strange prose book? (Never read anything by Devin Grayson. Is he/she any good?), Dr. Strange Flight of Bones (I have this series, but the collection also contains various other Strange short stories. Will have to check which ones I have or not), Darth Vader vol 4.

Again, WHY WON'T YOU LIST AVATAR? It currently has most of the best writers in its regular rooster.

Still on the fence about continuing The Wicked + the Divine, but I might get volume 4. The 1831 one-shot thing sounds like a neat idea but too bad McKelvie isn't doing the art - I would have liked to see his versions of Byron and the Shelleys. I did like Stephanie Hans's art in the one issue she did though.
Seven to Eternity sounds like it might be worth a look, depending on Remender's writing, which I haven't been tried yet. I like what I've seen of Opena's art online.
A few other books sound interesting but the descriptions are so brief, it's really not enough to go by.
