As filming for DC Comics latest superhero film gets underway, more details have been released regarding the plot and new characters appearing in Justice League including an official logo, synopsis, and main villain. Willem Dafoe's character has been confirmed by Warner Bros. as Vulko, a villain that has played a large role in Aquaman's origin story. The main villain for the Justice League film will be Steppenwolf, who was first shown in a deleted scene from Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. No actors have been announced for the role, but casting is underway.
The official synopsis for the Justice League movie is, "Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions."
Vulko ? Wow, that's interesting, and of course Steppenwolf means Darkseid's coming.
