How are we not talking about this???
Polls just closed and results will be available soon. I may be living in the United States, but I see significant repercussions for us all with either outcome.

Hey, all of you CCF members from the United Kingdom, let us know what you think! It's past 1am over in the UK right now, so we're not likely to hear much from them for the next few hours.

If UK leaves the European Union - It will have serious impact on the Pound and financial undertaking will weaken it and I have been following off and on in the past few days and I feel it make UK weaker because the Pound dropped 7 to 8 cents on the US Dollar that will force the European Union to have a serious collapse and wreck havoc on the Global Economy as we speak.
It's the best that I can explain and right now CNN reported the first results:
Remain in EU ... 45.3%
Leave the EU ... 54.7%
Scary

Based upon my own limited knowledge of the predicament, I'm in favor of the UK staying and worry that this is all a knee-jerk reaction, but I also respect that people on the other side of the issue clearly have strong feelings about this that matter more to them than the value of the pound.

I understand your points about it and I was based on the Pound Value and I didn't factor in the strong feelings at all than the value of the Pound. But, I'm still nervous about all this and the global economy if UK leave the European Union. Shax, I'm like you with limited knowledge and really do not know the whole complexity of this matter.

If the vote is tied, do they go to penalty kicks?

Less than 11% of economists think that it will be anything but a disaster for Britain to leave the E.U. This is the same type of "voting against self interest" that has resulted in the village idiot being the presumptive nominee for one of the major parties nomination for U.S. President.
We live in very strange and dangerous times.

On the plus side...Warren Ellis is tweeting about Brexit. And it is absolutely hilarious and wonderful.

After Brexit, if France decides to go they will have to find their own slogan.
