Wow. Several of these titles are targeting a much younger generation of comic readers. That's great, it's just a bit strange to behold. Interesting to see titles like Foolkiller, Solo, and Slapstick come back into the fold. And Prowler? There's a blast from the past. But I have to wonder how many issues several of these will last. Genndy Tartakovsky's take on Cage! looks remotely interesting: I may check that out. Also going to pickup Death of X, but that may be about it for this incarnation of Marvel.

Still no FF. Steve/Cap still Hydra. The one bright spot is the return of the Spidey/MJ marriage!

I won't be buying any of this stuff but I do like the Prowler. Here we have Marvel doing the diversity thing right for a change with an established character, with his own original identity, and you can bet your ass that nobody will comment on it or care. I always liked the character and thought he had untapped potential.

That looks pretty terrible. That's definitely a throw stuff at the wall and see what sticks line up.. with all those D-listers that are in the Deadpool team book getting solos.. just like when they tried to give everyone in GotG their own book.
Making Dr. Strange a franchise is going to fail hard I suspect... he can barely support 1 book, never mind 3.
Same with Cage and Iron Fist... they both get their own book besides their buddy book? 'Iron Fists' could be something weird though. I assume they're trying to capitalize on the net flix series (There's also Kingpin, Jessica Jones, and Bullseye), but that's WAY too much.
Occupy Avengers? really? that's ugly. Not as bad as the US Avengers though. It'll be interesting to see if there's enough Avengers fan boys that buy everything to sustain those... I suspect not (AI Failed, afterall, and the 'next gen' titles like Avengers Academy barely survived along their runs) I think they're getting a little too carried away with the solo books for teen girls. The new Wasp is OK, but just like all the other new teen girl characters.. do they all need books? I'd rather seem them focus on promoting and developing one or two (as they did brilliantly with Ms. Marvel) than have a whole stack of carbon copied characters in different costumes.
Haven't a clue what Mosaic is... I'm sure that'll work.
I like the new, gun toting Herc in Avengers, that's pretty cool. (Though it probably means his solo book is done). I also still think they're heading for a young kids vs. old fogeys mega crossover event.. probably next summer.
I think the real shock for me is that there ARE NO X-BOOKS. Just the event book. But yeah, Marvel's not trying to get the rights back.. sure.
Also, I count 62 books(Before Star Wars).. that's WAY too many in this market

Nothing here for me.
Nothing
I can't remember that ever happening. It's been down to 1 or 2 fringe titles before, or a mini or something, I'd maybe buy on a sale, but literally nothing here I'd buy even on sale.
The only one I might would be Foolkiller, but the victim's face on the cover told me I wouldn't like it.
I'm sad, but this has been building more and more for years, and when I think of my limited funds going to all the excellent indie publishers out there, it's the right decision for me.

Wow, they are taking this yearly restart seriously. I really do hope they have caught the younger generations attention. I was with them but no X books means I'm out for now. Not gonna knock it as at least its not all the same titles from last years restart and they are trying new directions. Just not my cup of tea.

I was with them but no X books means I'm out for now. Hey, you're right! No X-book and no Fantastic Four! Nothing to do with Fox, of course, no... such thoughts would be pure cynicism. (Not that I think the comics have much influence on what movie-goers want to see, but still... the coincidence is noticeable).

The hinted at return of Richard Ryder has me mildly interested, at least.

Yeah, but it might be a trick. I'm sure that's going to be the result of the current ANAD Avengers story where they've just been captured by Annihilus... they're probably in the Cancerverse... I'd guess Rich will make the save, or they'll find him while trying to find Sam's dad.
Of course, they could be trolling and Sam's dad could just have the same helmet, or it could be someone else entirely, but we'll see.

Marvel must be doing something right, I have no interest in any of this.

Rebirth came along just in time 'cause I have little to no interest in any of these titles.
Spider-Man Renew Your Vows by Conway may be something. The only Avengers title worth reading seems to be the main title by Waid.
Death of X should answer some questions that abound within the X-universe but I'm kinda glad they haven't been drawn too much into the grander events of the MU. Lately that means a drubbing beating down by the newly enthroned Avengers.

Nothing catches my eye so far. If I pick anything up down the road it'll be because some writer or artist I like is working on a character I also like - and maybe not even then, since everyone has to keep to the current party line on these characters. So even if, say, Warren Ellis were writing Doctor Strange, I might not bother reading it since most likely he'll have to write the within the bounds set for the current version of the character.

Did you read Ellis' brief run on Doc Strange in the 90s? It was only like 3-4 issues and bridged the gap between the end of Quinn's run and the start of DeMatteis' run. It featured Mark Buckingham on art I believe. -M

That Luke Cage looks pretty spiffy.
