I actually found all of those issues in a quarter bin at a local Half Price Books a couple of months ago.

This is going to sound stupid, but I have an almost complete run of Lobo...The only exception being issue #37....The two stores near me don't have, and even Half Price Books has never gotten it...Online it seems to always be sold out...Stupid Lobo./.

I actually found all of those issues in a quarter bin at a local Half Price Books a couple of months ago. I see Camelot 3000 issues in bargain bins all the time, though I cannot vouch for the exact numbers. I recall that #12 was a long time coming; It is possible that retailers cut orders on it (compared to previous issues), making that issue scarcer now as a back issue. Kinda like Ronin #6.

That's a possibility. I looked on mycomicshop and it's only $1.60 for #12. So it might be a little more scarce but it doesn't seem to be valued anymore than the other issues. I think you would probably need to stumble across the entire set to find it and that's probably the issue that would be bought first.

I just checked my usual online resources out of curiosity, and while they're also sold out, I recognize that issue from a $1 bin I was scouring on FCBD! They had quite a few issues, too...

I had a hard time finding that one at a decent price too, until I snagged a cheap lot on eBay a few months ago that included it. I ended up with quite a few duplicates, but you do what you gotta do!

I can't find the issues to complete my 2001 Love and Rockets either not even on ebay uk - i just have 8 random issues. I just looked at the Fantagraphics website. It turns out they are still selling most of these issues (there are a few they have sold out of).

One that remains a bit elusive to me is the Archie Christmas Treasury-Sized Edition from the 70s...it's a bit difficult to find in high-grade, without the puzzles completed in pencil... I remember seeing one on Ebay a couple years ago, kept in its original shipping wrapping and without dings...and I messed up

I'll have to check to see if it's still there. (Don't know whether the puzzles were completed; I'll check.)

Living in New York City, there always were plenty of comic shops and conventions.I haven't looked for a back issue in decades but I recall failing to find those couple of Moon Knight issues that Stephan Platt did the artwork. I was never able to find them (I think there were only 3 or 4) in those pre-internet days. The artist himself essentially disappeared Yes, he made a huge splash in Todd McFarlane's style.

Platt's making huge bucks in Hollywood as a production designer.

I have a few that have been driving me crazy for a while now.
Avengers 160 and 163
Doctor Strange 41
Defenders 14
Fantastic Four 175 and 188
ROM 11, 13-14
It can get frustrating as all get out.

I would be perfectly willing to keep these lists, and buy them for anyone if I find them. If condition is important, please let me know, otherwise I buy what I can find.
