I do look forward to seeing how his goes though... BC article-M I too bought them through the SFBC as a teen (I'm guessing a lot of us our age did). I actually re-read them in the last year and a half for the first time in over a decade. They hold up well. I suspect that they could do a good job with them the way TV is done today.

Kirkman, though? *shiver* I could see it being really good, but Kirkman involved makes me sad.

Kirkman, though? *shiver* I could see it being really good, but Kirkman involved makes me sad. Kirkman's name is seen by studios as a built in audience. Walking Dead, Fear the Walking Dead and Outcast are all associated with his name, and studios like bankable names. I am not a fan of Kirkman as a creator per se, but as an expediter/producer he carries a lot of clout (and I really like books like Thief of Thieves that he had a hand in bringing about but wasn't the main creative force behind). So with Kirkman heading the project, I am ok, since it will give the project the recognition and clout it needs to see fruition, but it is likely not something he will be the hands on creative force behind. -M

I don't know, I think this might be a tough one to translate to the screen because much of the attraction of the books lies in Zelazny's style.
