I pretty much 100% agree with your review... beautiful art, and a good story. I think the title was, perhaps, a poor choice (as it certainly evokes images of Thor), when that doesn't seem to be the focus of the story. I'm sure many people were disappointed not to see a slightly-off version of Marvel's Norse characters.

Walt Simonson plus a clear Thor reference has serious commercial viability to the classic comics crowd.
