That's 14 more than Johnny Blaze or Danny Ketch have starred in in that time right? Blaze was relegated to second fiddle in a Thunderbolts comic with actual popular characters and it still lasted less time than the Reyes led series. Neither of whom have been able to carry a series in years and were replaced in 2012 by a female Ghost Rider in the Fear Itself event. And the cycle riding Ghost Rider did so well at the box office right? And a new Robbie Reyes led Ghost Rider series was just announced today as well. So what makes more sense, trying something different or using the same old that never works.
I am a huge fan of the Johnny Blaze Ghost Rider, but he's not a character that has worked well since the 70s. Ketch was an attempt to update the character and it worked well for the 90s but then fizzled out. None of the revamps of Blaze by Grayson, Ennis, Way, or Aaron succeeded either. So they're trying something different rather than beat a dead horse with a version that has a track record of failure after failure since the 70s. Might work, might not, but I am not going to judge before I see for myself.
Maybe they want to retry Blaze in the movies so are using Reyes on TV instead who knows. But just because it's not my preference doesn't make it a bad business decision by them.

My Top ThreeGiant Man and the Wasp Ant Man & Wasp not acceptable? dupersuper, to be frank - Ant Man Movie was good and it's has it's moments; but Giant Man is really a favorite of mine more so than Ant Man. I rather see (if it's done right) a 10 foot towering giant and that alone would be a better fit for the big screen than his other ego Ant Man. I loved both Ant Man and Giant Man - but I loved Giant Man even better. That's my own preference.

I really want a World War 2 Blackhawk(s) movie. Just to see those planes flying through the skies. and can you imagine the pure bliss of seeing the Giant War Wheel rolling across the screen laying waste and destruction across the land while the 'Hawks attack unable to stop it with their planes? And who to play Lady Blackhawk and Domino the Nazi assassin? Vavavooooooom

Yes, I do and it's one of my favorite Marvel Movies - I would place it between #6 to #12 in my top 20 list and I haven't updated my current list of Marvel Comic Movies.
