I've been wating for all the "Short Treks" to come out before watching them and man was it worth it! They were each clocked in at just shy of half an hour, and stand on their own rather then telling one story but the individual explorations were truly great bits of Sci-Fi. The episode Calypso, a play on the Odyssey, was not only my favorite of the bunch but also one of the best bits of Sci-Fi that I've seen in some time.

Well that spells the much-anticipated death of CBS All Access. It's a pretty uninspiring title, but man I'd watch Patrick Stewart do just about anything so I imagine the show will do well. |

After three retcon series (one on the big screen), I’m glad to see the story finally move forward.

It's a pretty uninspiring title, but man I'd watch Patrick Stewart do just about anything so I imagine the show will do well. I mean that it's on Amazon Prime I believe that's just for outside the US; if you live here you have no other legal option but to subscribe to CBS but they haven't invested in an international streaming platform so its been piecemeal on the world stage until now. |

And now the teaser: It doesn't give us much, just Jean Luc walking his vineyard and then apparently talking to someone at Starfleet, but that flue version of the theme? Fantastic. Something I found really funny regarding the likeness to the episode "All Good Things..."  |

I loved the Short Treks before last season, and that teaser made me think the new batch will be just as good.
Still not fully sure what Picard is about but I'll be damned if I miss it.

Regarding the latest Picard trailer... Oh, please, please, please let that {Spoiler: Click to show}
be a rebuilt Data, and not a hologram or some kind of dream.
I don’t want Data as part of the show; let him go to Cambridge and occupy that chair as Lucasian professor of mathematics... He can walk off into the sunset, that’s fine... but let him be alive still! His demise in Nemesis was pointless and added more gloom to an already dismal movie. |
