Don't worry, nothing's going to look different at all, but in an effort to make this site a little more professional and better able to interface with a variety of promotional tools I'm using to keep our community growing, our physical web/url address is changing. Please update your bookmarks to: www.classiccomics.orgA little shorter and easier to remember, I hope  We're transitioning from freeware to paid ware, and that will provide us with a more professional experience and faster load time at the new url. The old url will continue to work for a limited time, but it will ultimately be phased out, so don't wait -- update your bookmarks now! |

Otherwise, in the "help desk" category, I should note that for the first time I can remember (which is to say possibly for the first time, period), I've been told twice in a row when preparing to comment that I need to log on ... even though I already am.

If you know a soulless corporation who is buying, please forward the number. Otherwise, in the "help desk" category, I should note that for the first time I can remember (which is to say possibly for the first time, period), I've been told twice in a row when preparing to comment that I need to log on ... even though I already am. When you use the new url for the first time, it will request that you log in because you have no cookies associated with it. Requesting that you log in twice is new to me. If it keeps happening, let me know. |

UPDATE August 18: If anyone is experiencing any difficulty with the new url address, please let me know right away. I will be setting the old address to automatically forward to the new one by the end of the week and want to make sure that won't prevent anyone from logging in and utilizing the site correctly.
If you have not tried the new address yet, it really is time to make sure it's working for you!
