Now, I would if I knew what that icon meant and how it is used. You know, the new one that suddenly appeared in the upper right corner when you create a reply or thread
Is it something I can use with Excel spreadsheets?

It creates table cells, but nothing as elaborate as excel. A member requested the option. Row 1 column 1 | Row 1 column 2 | Row 1 column 3 | Row 1 column 4 | Row 1 column 5 | Row 2 column 1 | Row 2 column 2 | Row 2 column 3 | Row 2 column 4 | Row 2 column 5 | Row 3 column 1 | Row 3 column 2 | Row 3 column 3 | Row 3 column 4 | Row 3 column 5 | Row 4 column 1 | Row 4 column 2 | Row 4 column 3 | Row 4 column 4 | Row 4 column 5 | Row 5 column 1 | Row 5 column 2 | Row 5 column 3 | Row 5 column 4 | Row 5 column 5 |

What's an XL table? How is this used? I don't even see this on a quick google search. I have Excel but are you saying it has nothing to do with that?

It just displays text in customizable grids. There's also no way to import an excel file into this. It really is just an aesthetic option.

Is this something that uses Microsoft word? If not, what is used to import information? I'm just curious if it's of any use to members besides the one person who asked for this (and probably through a pm since I never saw a conversation in the forums)

It's truly just a different way to display info in your post. The member who requested it is thinking of starting a new game here and wanted a way to display a score board.
