The winds must really swirl in Gotham City! Batman's cape is being blowing away in one direction, but Robin's is being blown back in the opposite.

This era of Avengers was such a "beautiful mess". Colan doing great artwork to a bunch of stories that were directionless, weird (and not in the good way) and often stupid.

Titan published some affordable trades a few years ago. I have three of those, not sure if there were more.

Titan published some affordable trades a few years ago. I have three of those, not sure if there were more. There were five, reprinting all of the Captain's original British appearances. Later, they were repackaged as two oversized hardcover collections for the American market

I love Colan, but I always thought he was a poor fit for Avengers. His art works better in the shadowy parts of the world.
