I was reading Groo# 21 (November 1986) tonight and found the following letter:
Of course, Jon's information is slightly out of date. Stan hadn't done anything for Albedo for roughly a year by this point and was now being published in Fantagraphic's "Critters" title.
How come no one ever writes Sakai a letter? Geez, you hardly even mention the poor fellow. And after all he's done for you, too. Why, he must mention Groo in almost every single issue of Albedo, but you never give him credit for the fine work he does.
LISTEN UP, EVERYBODY! You can see Stan Sakai's work every once in a while in Albedo Anthropomorphics by one of the "Third World" comics companies, Steve Gallaci and Valco Graphic. Stan does a Samurai rabbit strip called Usagi Yojimbo. It's quite good.
Groo's not that bad, either, but I don't understand some of those hard words. What does "mulching" mean?
