Did anyone else get some freebies (or not-free-bies) yesterday at the Halloween ComicFest? It's just like Free Comic Book Day but happens the Saturday closest to Halloween.
I went to Things From Another World in Beaverton. They had some HCF comics in packs of 10 or 25 that they were selling as trick-or-treat goodies, but I just picked up individual copies of the free comics.
There were four full-size comics: Marvel's "Spidey" and "Squirrel Girl", IDW's "My Little Pony", and something called "B.E.K. - Black-Eyed Kids" from Aftershock Comics.
And two digest-size comics - Disney's "Mickey's Inferno" and the Boom! Box "Halloween Haunt" anthology.
Later, at a supermarket, I impulse-bought an Archie digest - the "Archie 75th Anniversary Celebration" #2. So now of course I want #1.

I was at a con and they were giving away some. I picked the Archie Madhouse Digest and the Action Labs sampler. I had hoped to get the Harrow County book from Dark Horse, as i's a series I want to try, but they didn't have it at the show.

Pretty sure they'll also be on Comixology.
