BATMAN 66 CARTOON MOVIE!
It's came out October 11th and I just got an e-mail from my LCS that has a copy for me and I'm picking it up this Wednesday and I just can't wait to watch it!
It's featured the voices of Adam West, Burt Ward, and Julie Newmar as Catwoman.
Here's couple of trailers that I wanted to share with you!
I'm a big fan of Batman 66 and I have every comic book available!

I had high hopes for this, being a big fan of the 60's tv series, but...didn't like it! The plot was silly even for an animated movie based on a silly/campy tv series. The voices of Adam West & Julie Newmar sounded just plain...OLD! Burt Ward was able to pull off the voice of Robin though. The animation itself was fairly decent, but nothing spectacular. I really, really, really wanted to like this!

Ah, well don't put off watching it based upon my view alone. The reviews seem positive for the most part, IMDb rating is 7.1, still worth watching for nostalgia sake I suppose.

It's definitely something to take a chance on, so I am looking forward to getting this. Even if it is only for nostalgia sake, it's still the Batman and Robin that I grew up with!

I got it just for that reason. I'm curious about the second movie Adam & Burt will be doing. It's suppose to have Two-Face s\in it voiced by William Shatner. I'm curious how that will work since Two-Face was never in the original 60's Batman TV Series.

Just finally saw this the other night. For what it is I thought it was pretty good. they actually did a really good job on it IMO. If you love the tv show you'll enjoy this. They made some curious choices and there were a couple missed opportunities that seemed obvious to me but I dug it. At least for nostalgia and such purposes. Although I don't know when if I'll watch it again.

I'm hesitant to pick this up since from what little I've seen of it (trailers/brief clips) this film seems more like an outright parody of the classic series than a continuation. Sort of "Batman once fought off a shark with Bat-Shark repellent and danced the Batusi? Let's have the whole movie like that!"
I did find the opening credits online however and given the obvious enthusiasm and effort put into those, I'm wondering if I'm being too harsh. I guess in short, what I'm asking is "If I still take the '66 series somewhat seriously, will this disappoint?"
And the credits (which serves as more of an homage to the comics of the Golden Age than to the TV series)
