Animated Bone newsJeff Smith announced he will be working with director Mark Osbourne (Kung Fu Panda, The Little Prince) to bring the animated Bone feature to theatres. I saw the announcement on the Columbus Cartoon Crossroads Facebook feed... This news made my day. Love me some Bone comics. -M

It seems Warner Brothers issued a press release today stating Bone will be a trilogy of movies, not a single feature, and that Osbourne will Exec produce all 3.

In my head I see the films using a mixture of either CG and Live action or traditional animation and live action with the Bones and other more fantastic creatures being animated while the human characters are actual actors with maybe Elle Fanning as Thorn.
