Good choice. One of my favorite covers. And reminds me of .... Back when Marc Silvestri was a GOOD artist!

Good choice. One of my favorite covers. And reminds me of .... Back when Marc Silvestri was a GOOD artist! I dunno. This was when X-Men went biweekly during the summer, and his stuff looked (understandably) rushed then, with some really weird foreshortening choices.

Was Superman really taken over here? I've read enough of Superdickery to know that this looks like business as usual for the Man of Steel!

I don't think there's any entrapment in another body with this cover.Doesn't the Space Phantom just looks like someone while the real entity is shuffled off to limbo? Or do I recall it incorrectly?

Cover says "takes over their bodies" so we are led to believe that its "somebody apparently in the body of someone else" which is fine - if the writer is going to trick us with a shape shifter in the story itself well... that's another story (quite literally)

At the risk of turning this topic into a lawyering debate: Several of the covers entered this week do not depict someone with their body taken over. They show people transformed into other forms. Besides, the rules say that if you don't think the cover fits the topic, just don't vote for it.

No, technically that changes what I put up as it was the same body transformed as opposed to trapped in another body. Thanks for pointing out the difference. I'll be amending mine.

I'm in with this cover showing Judge Death trapped inside the body of Judge Anderson. From my collection...

So far, I like every cover posted (in terms of having it fit the theme). It is a tough theme but to me, something trapped in the body of something else can include transformations and body swapping. Also works whether the regular entity knows or understands what they are trapped in or not.

Just a general question as to the thread theme ... Wouldn't technically any Ghost Rider cover qualify as the demon is always needing a host body like Johnny or Danny? Granted its a somewhat mutual symbiosis rather than a abduction of a host body.
