Crisis at Hand Parts one and two. It's a spousal abuse story and it takes place right before the whole Death of Superman stuff.
Crisis at Hand is pretty good but kinda depressing at the same time since Clark can't do much about the abuse that goes on.

I do. Lois overhears a neighbor, who is abusing his wife and is somehow able to pick up a cell call on lower band AM radio. She wants Clark to intervene; but, even he can't fully solve the situation. It was one of those brief interludes between the big storylines. Very well done.
The Superman titles Legends tie-in issues were way better than the mini-series itself, as byrne & company play in the 4th World.
There weren't many of what you would call storylines, in the Bronze Age, since they were mostly single issue stories; but, there are tons of underrated stories from Cary Bates and Elliot Maggin, and some others. I quite liked the World of Krypton stories that ran during the Kryptonite Nevermore saga (with the sand creature). Really great tales and art from people like Mike Kaluta. Those were collected in a nice trade, a few years back. The World of Krypton mini-series revisited a few of them.

Hondo I'm surprised you never heard of Crisis at Hand. It takes place right before the whole Death of Superman.
Crisis at Hand is one of those smaller minor stories I prefer and enjoy to read over and over than the annoying multi parter stuff like Death of Superman etc.
Also I still find it odd with Lois using FM stereo to "hack" into a cellphones call or whatever.
