To practice using the Finale music program, I scored out Toto's Africa. It's 41 pages.

I'm sure that you can also become a minister for whatever church the Flying Spaghetti Monster is affiliated with or The Church Of The Subgenius

Shower Thoughts:
When you get into a random altercation with a stranger (they're being too loud at a movie theater, they cut you in line, steal your parking space, shoulder check you without apologizing, blast their music on the bus, etc.) and ask them to stop indulging in their own selfishness, they respond with "well what are you going to do about it???" or "do something then!!!"
So...what do you do? Risk starting a physical altercation that probably isn't worth it? Let them have their win now knowing that they can walk all over you along with anyone else? What do you do???
EDIT: Someone elsewhere made a good suggestion:
I mean, you might not convince them to stop doing what they're doing, but you do get to back out of the situation via cryptic comment so you don't like like a ***** to the bully + onlookers. Then afterward you can go get the appropriate authorities to handle it.

Can try this one out in response: my parole officer says I really shouldn't repeat myself since it only makes more paperwork for the police. Smile and walk away...

"No thanks, I'm not going to prison over this, I was just hoping you'd be a decent person" is actually a pretty mature response. That's how an adult should behave. The joke about "going back" to prison is somewhat immature, albeit funny. Besides, it invites an escalation :"you were in prison? That's supposed to scare me? Well let's see you try somethin', you sissy!" and the like.

True, but I would think by the time you finish with the "I'd thought you'd be a decent person" bit you'd already have turned your back to go get the proper people to deal with this. At least that is how it would work in my head. I dunno, for safety I guess you could just keep it as "I'm not going to prison for this"

I dunno, for safety I guess you could just keep it as "I'm not going to prison for this" I really like the added "I was hoping you'd be a decent person", though. It's not a challenge and is even somewhat respectful, since you express the belief that the other guy actually is a decent person. Just saying "I'm not going to prison ovcer this" without saying anything else might be the wisest course, but it's also backing down... the other guy won and is going to feel all smug about it. With the added bit, and although he may just shrug it off, the onus is on him to prove that he's not an a*****le.

I turn the other cheek. Not much worth fighting for that might result in tragedy. I heard a story of a pastor who lost his father because the father was cut off in traffic and he decided to confront the other driver. He was shot and killed.
