Does Amber know about all the CCF "in-laws" that come as part of the package? Cei-U! I summon the potential deal-breaker! And does she understand your registering at your LCS for wedding gifts? 😉 Shoot, I’d get in on that. Drop the link if you do.

As I stated in the Zoom meeting today, Congratulations to you, condolences to her. All kidding aside, I wish the absolute best for both of you.
If your marriage ends up even half as wonderful as mine, you'll be very happy. I wouldn't trade my spouse for a million bucks... I wouldn't even trade her for a 9.8 Action #1 autographed by Seigel & Shuster. Now that's love.

Time to stock up on Scotch Whiskey! For the next 4 months no tariff on exported Scotch from Great Britain to America. Means lower pricing and larger quantities available for mass consumption and more jobs for Brit workers. So support those distilleries and show your love...

First jury trial in over a year starting in about an hour after the Supreme Court said we could finally start trials again. Not just the first trial in eons, but also a Lewd Conduct trial, which are never fun. I'd have preferred something a bit easier to work back in to the grind, like a simple possession or a burglary.
Y'all have fun the next few days.

What ever shall I do?!

I wish it were that simple. We won't see a price adjustment at the retail level for at least a month, if not longer, depending on the inventory turn-around time at your local retailer. Blame it on the import distributor/middlemen who are very slow to make downward adjustments. It's not the retailers' fault, the tariff is a pass-through cost to them just as it is to the consumer.
My preferred local retailer has one of the largest single malt selections in the Southeastern US. When the tariff hit last year, he held his Scotch and Irish whisky prices until he sold through most of his stock and had to reorder. Perhaps other smaller stores jacked prices right away for stuff already sitting on the shelves, but not him-- I guess that's why he gets the bulk of my business.
I'm not holding my breath on this one.

Shatter the illusion, crush the hope, ruin the dream why don't ya? Think I needs a shot of rotgut now😉

So what you are saying is we have to buy up all the scotch to make room for the cheaper scotch? So not just an excuse, but we have a responsibility to buy more scotch is what I am hearing!

This is only cabinet #1 plus the partial contents of cabinet #2 in front... trust me, I'll make room for more.

That is a beautiful sight to behold.
I also have lots of extra room in my re-purposed "wine rack"... each individual PO box holds two regular-size "fifth" bottles, and each drawer holds 3-4 bottles up to magnum size. I use this mainly for wine and bottle-conditioned beers like trappist ales and such, but will also work just fine for scotch.

Has anyone noticed that gas prices are slowly creeping up? It seems that it has gone up 10 cents each of the last 3 weeks.
