I'm the only one in my family who hasn't had it. My wife is considered a front-line worker as she is a child-protection investigator. My middle son is substitute teaching and my youngest son is working as a CNA at an old-folks home while he's in college. I'm the oldest and have the most underlying health issues and can't get a shot.

Did you pre-register yet? It at least gets you in the queue. (I'm assuming you still live in Massachusetts, CB.) That's what I did, got a nice text alert from the commonwealth thanking me for pre-registering. Hopefully the system is working better than it was back in January when I was trying to help my old man get an appointment. It is, based on what I've been told by some of the younger generation. My wife and I are in between shots, and we absolutely just lucked into getting them locally after quite a few frustrating attempts a few weeks ago.

I'm hoping that's what my "kids" can get so that it will speed up our reunion with them.

I know some folks saying they can get walk-in appointments for J & J. In and out in 30 minutes. I understand this is very region-specific, but it's an encouraging indication that the supply is getting out there.

On a totally different note, does anyone know if the forum caps the number of threads that appear in your "Participated" section you can quickly access in the top-right corner of the forum? I have had threads I participate in fall off of the list. The first time, I thought it must have been a glitch or I must have accidentally left the thread, but I've now noticed more than one thread I follow no longer appearing here. I don't see new activity until I browse by recent threads.

Well, at least I know I’m not the only lunatic in the asylum.

My wife and I aren't eligible here until April 5, so we're just playing the waiting game. Every time I leave the house I feel like the cop in the movie who is going to retire tomorrow but has this one last call to respond to first. Did you pre-register yet? It at least gets you in the queue. (I'm assuming you still live in Massachusetts, CB.) I have, though my understanding is that only gets you on the list for the big state sites and not all the local ones like at CVS and so forth. When the 5th rolls around I'm going to be working the phones. Well, smartphones anyway.

Theater chain here in Phoenix has special tomorrow night at ALL their places. 7pm for $5 is 1966 King Kong versus Godzilla! Nice to see classic old school rubber suit Zilla up on the big screen before next weekends Thrilla with Zilla & the Gorilla! The Gigantic Brawl for it All to end it All. The Biggest Throwdown Showdown to Cime Around. The Kaiju Shuffle vs the Banana Punch!
Not seen that kind of Godzilla movie on big screen since Gidzilla vs Megalon.

But at least you’re now in line.

I think that I may have mentioned that my middle son has been applying to law schools and had been accepted to Georgetown and to Washington University, both of which are top 20 schools. He recently got a $75,000 scholarship to Georgetown. Not quite up with the $120,000 at Washington University, but enough that he's very likely going to take it because he really wants to be in D.C. or NYC. So that's a good thing.
Also, there's going to be an open judgeship at the end of the year and I'm going to make a run at it. Given my age and the ages of the other judges hereabouts this is likely my last shot. I will likely be doing much less political stuff on both Facebook and Twitter for the foreseeable future and nothing that is public. The last interviews I sat in on for the last open judgeship "social media presence" was a thing that was examined.
So there we have it.

G'town is an excellent law school by all accounts. Man, do we need intelligent, enlightened judges! I hope you get the appointment. You will make a splendid judge. Please do not respond with too much false humility. I deal only in facts, so just accept it.
