No, it means we can submit all future Classic Comics disputes to him for arbitration - which service he shall no doubt provide free of charge! |

Just an announcement for those who haven't participated yet - we have Zoom meetings every 2 weeks or so. Please join us and get to know the faces and voices behind he posts. It's super easy, and it's usually a really laid back "bull session". Not always 100% about comics, which takes the pressure off folks who think they might not have something to contribute.

If you say so... here's my proposed name for our musical duo... tongue-in-cheek of course, except for Icctrombone , he simply can't play his parts if his tongue is in his cheek. My first choice was "Curmudgeons Anonymous", but I think that's already taken. This one's better, since we both work for governmental or quasi-governmental entities.

absolutely SPECTACULAR (and honestly, what got me to log back in to discuss). So, SO good. . . it's 80-85% a new film, with barely acknowledging the theatrical release.
just incredible, and I really hope the response will get WB to greenlight a follow up or two, as I really wanna see where this goes.

I truly wish I could share your enthusiam, but as you know, most comic book movies leave me feeling like this:
But that's just me. If you enjoyed it, more power to ya. I know it seems weird to some, but live-action comic films just make me ZZZZzzzzzzzzz...... 😴
HOWEVER... perhaps this one will change my mind?

My brother told me it was 95% new and great. I will have to devote the 4 hours to watch it. |

tartanphantom & Icctrombone it's truly spectacular. you certainly will get more out of it if you're a DC Comics fan, as there are all kinds of hidden nods (and characters) that are just there in the background as fun little easter eggs. But as a film itself? it's really amazing. it was absolutely tailored to a TV watching crowd, with the film broken up into "chapters". . so very simple to watch a few chapters, then stop and go back to finish later, or the next day. I watched it all the way thru the 1st time, only pausing at the "chapter" breaks for a bathroom break. the film flies by and is hands down the best DC film yet - and I even enjoyed it more than the Avengers Endgame film.
-- and I'd say it's about 80% new film. (maybe closer to 85%) there are some scenes that will look very familiar, and there is some (very little) of the same footage. but most of it is brand new footage that fills in quite a bit of character motivation, and extends some scenes to great effect.
