Welp, when it rains it pours. Ended up having to take my wife to the ER last night after spending the day recovering from an outpatient procedure. She started experiencing a strange burning painful sensation in her chest, shoulder and left arm. ER docs ran a bunch of tests and determined it wasn't anything cardiac in nature as all those results were good/clear, but aren't sure exactly what it was. Likely some kind of muscle strain or pinched nerve, but the location and nature of the pain was worrisome, so it was good we came in. They gave her an anti-inflammatory and something to manage the pain, and we see her regular doc tomorrow to see what we can learn. We didn't get home until about 3:30 this morning so today got off to a late start, and my wife is home for a couple of days. We'll be busy, so I'll likely not be around much for a few days. -M Better safe than sorry! And have your primary doc still do some cardiac checks as ER's have been known to make mistakes or miss things. Years ago my girlfriend was having similar issues and hospital kept saying it wasn't heart related. One day later at home she was bent over at the waist with her head below heart level and passed out. At the same hospital they ran tests and they end up putting in 3 arterial stents. Being cautious and concerned when these kinds of things happen is always smart. I hope all stays well for your wife and you!

Thanks for all the well wishes, I will pass them on to my wife. Just got back from taking her to the follow up appointment, and her doctor believes it is a nerve issue. He gave her a steroid regime to address it in the short term and ordered some neck x-rays, which we went and got done, and some further blood work tomorrow, and we'll see him again next week to follow up. So at least we have a plan and an idea of what is going on, and confirmation it is not cardiac-related.
And belated happy birthday to the Prince of the Cape, Hal I who sits upon the Cod Throne.

Memorial Day looks to be a wash out in NY , as it is forecasted for rain all weekend. The bright spot is my son is bringing my grandson over here for the weekend.
Does anyone on this forum have anything exciting planned ?

Wishing there wasn’t tbh. Got oldest boy, er young man’s, high school graduation this morning. After many postponed due to weather. And then taking the family and said son’s girlfriend (and certain soon to be daughter in law) out to my in laws house for the holiday weekend. And guess whose doing the driving himself? Ah well the things we do for love. (Not saying I don’t get along with my in laws. They’re great. I just hate the driving.)
