I remembered the time change yesterday but then forgot today lol. Digital devices take care of it for us. This is how Terminator started. My phone and computer auto-adjust, but the microwave doesn't, so that's what reminded me.
I think the real trouble happens when we get used to some advance and then are without it. For example, I bought a slow-close toilet seat a while ago and quickly got used to just tapping it over and letting it gradually fall. The problem is when I'm in the bathroom somewhere else like a friend's house, or work, or a restaurant, and muscle memory has me just tap that lid over, and it quickly drops with a most indiscreet BAM!

Digital devices take care of it for us. This is how Terminator started. When urinals started flushing themselves, I knew we were doomed. More like The Urinator. Come with me if you want to relieve. To wizz. I should have said "Come with you if you want to wizz."

One of my friends had a nice little accomplishment....she placed in the Top 4 in Miss World in India yesterday, and won the Miss World Americas segment. She's on the left.

Just finished filing my taxes. I don't know why I procrastinated so long, as I could have been done with them a month ago and I didn't owe anything. Just hate having to go through all the the steps for e-filing, through a service. I used to be able to do this on paper, in about 15-20 minutes. The filing process isn't that complicated; just have to skip a bunch of stuff that doesn't apply. I mostly procrastinated because this year was going to have more paperwork, since I cashed in part of my inheritance to buy my car, last January. On the up side, since I have never made beau coup moolah, and don't own a house or control shares in major conglomerates, it's pretty straightforward. Then again, I can't use my complete failure as a business tycoon to write off income taxes for a decade or more. I always want to add a comment to the line that asks if you want to contribute a portion to the election fund. I'm sure the IRS appreciates sarcasm.

I’m sure our HMRC are just as bad as IRS, although at least there’s no election fund mentioned on my tax return.

Multiple tornadoes tore through our area again last night. Our county just had wind and heavy rain, but others were not so lucky. Up in Logan County (where Mrs. MRPs parents live, there were multiple tornado touch downs, one in a trailer park and several homes and businesses were destroyed and there were multiple casualties. I saw one report that as many as 12 tornadoes touched down in parts of Ohio and Indiana last night, but all have not yet been confirmed by the NWS.
Grateful we were not affected, but man, I feel for those who were.

If it rains, I'm really gonna cry. If you cry it will be like it's raining. Only sadder. Like Rutger Hauer at the end of Blade Runner.
