So if The Beatles beat Ali in that match it would have been Superman vs The Beatles?

So if The Beatles beat Ali in that match it would have been Superman vs The Beatles? For some reason that reminds me of a line from a Dean Martin movie where he plays a singer, a sort of parody of himself. I think he's talking to an attractive woman younger than him and she happens to mention the Beatles. Dino (I think this was his character's name): The Beatles? - huh, I can sing better than all four of them put together. And I'm younger too! - (under his breath:) than all four of them put together.

fuzzyblueelf, dare I ask where your avatar photo came from? Was it a commission or something? It's not a Commission I chose it as an avatar because I liked it the piece is called Phoenix by Cedric Poulat. Sorry to hear you got banned, fuzzyblueelf. These days, its tough to decide what to post on CBR without getting banned for the smallest things. Yeah, it really sucks because they didn't even give me a warning or anything just straight up banned me for making a joke. At least I have this place and ABP for discussing comics. Welcome aboard Polar and Fuzzy! Have a drink while you think of things you can say and not get banned. Ooops wrong place. Hah thank you.

This weekend is the Long Beach Comic Book Expo This is the sister con to the Long Beach Comic Con later on in the year, this one is nice as its mostly local talent hanging around. We have a decent guest list. I'll be working the Hero Initiative booth, as always. Whatever I purchase, I'll post.
Main guests that are drawing my interest are: Gerry Conway Tim Bradstreet Todd Nauck
Wein and Wolfman are there but I have everything I wanted to be signed by them already taken care of.

It's good to see them blossom into adulthood and make their way in the world.

At least I have this place and ABP for discussing comics. Au Bon Pain? alt.binaries.pictures? American Board of Pediatrics? AdBlock Plus? Associated Baptist Press? Those were first page results of a Google search on "ABP". Which one did you mean?

Wow--the move was pretty much unanimous, I see. Wish Captain Jim had moved, too, I must confess. The only disadvantage about the new site is that my workplace blocks proboards.com. I can only access this place from home--or if I cheat and use my phone, but that costs data, so I can't just browse at leisure. I'm curious how the ads are chosen here. For some reason, they think I want to buy an Original Rainbow Loom kit from Michael's Crafts. I have no idea. I'm starting to get more interested in the pulp figures as I age--the Dynamite line-up, basically. Anyone else find themselves moving in that direction?

One more useless post and I can shed this unwanted Reserve Team Member rank. Makes me feel like Bouncing Boy or Red Tornado or Squirrel Girl

It's straight google adsense.... that means someone in your house was on Michael's web site in the recent history.

Agreed.
Going to get the whole collection on digital, someday, when IDW finally works out a deal with Sim.
