Oh, Adam, you have to see it. It's a lot of fun, and the whole soundtrack is fantastic, and (extremely mild spoiler) there is actually an in-story justification for the seemingly out-of-place 70s/80s soundtrack.

The movie was one of the best Marvel has made. I bought the DVD.

Wow, ya'll really like it. I've been less than impressed with most comic books to live action movies. Some work, usually the simple ones, Punisher, but most don't. It's not a lack of skill of actors/actresses, or craft in the other people involved in making the movies, I just prefer animated or the comics themselves. Plus now, outside of Groot who I discovered in Star-Lord mini, these are some of my favorite long time known characters that are unique in a way that makes me think they would be hard to represent in live action.
But from various other entertainment each of your opinion's I respect. So ..... I may give it a try this weekend. It's easy to get from the nearby Redbox.

Best thing about the above, I'll be off work something like 7-10 days. I needed that so badly that I can hardly express it. I don't care how much pain I'm in ... I won't be having to endure the agony of the workplace. Damnation. No mesh screen, no outpatient procedure after all. Dead length of bowel removed. Might get out Monday. Lord.

I loved the GotG movie and I don't like even like the characters! Cei-U! What does THAT tell you? I went into GotG with significantly lowered expectations and a lack of real interest in the characters, and I walked out wanting to turn right back to the box office and fork over another handful of cash to see it again. It was a legitimately fun movie.

Damnation. No mesh screen, no outpatient procedure after all. Dead length of bowel removed. Might get out Monday. Lord. Yikes, that must have been a surprise. Hopefully the inconvenience of the more invasive surgery will be balanced by better health in the future. Get well soon Dan!

It's easy to get from the nearby Redbox. There is definitely at least one dollar's worth of entertainment in that movie.

Cause if there's one thing the world doesn't need is another Bale Batman movie.

My AC unit went out late last night. Too late to call anyone. So I have a garage swamp cooler. I tried unsuccessfully for five hours to sleep in a patio chair in front of the swamp cooler before giving up and coming inside to sweat all over my bed. Woke up early and bought a $140 window unit and called the repair man. Should be fixed on Monday. $7000 bill

Wouldn't it just be cheaper to replace the unit?
