Just got back from my neurologist. After nine months of terrifying uncertainty, I am now expected to make a full recovery. I cant tell you all what this means to me. It's easy to conceal the cognitive issues I've been experiencing on an online forum, but my reality has been quite different. Fantastic news man!

There'll always be people using a "meat shield" to hide behind to take the brunt of the flack for whatever idea their promoting. Liberals and conservatives alike. Atheist and religious alike. Heterosexual and homosexual alike. And now more so than ever in human history both sides can become more distracted with all the hubbub that we loose sight of the issue. Then both sides are arguing semantics while the solutions to possibly solving the problem are left untouched. I mean seriously it took this long, at least my lifetime up until now, for us to allow homosexual legal US marriage? It's frustrating sometimes. I can't even remember a time when those mythical "both sides" were acting, talking and thinking less alike than they are now. I am always very frustrated by people who excuse things like not voting with the tired and untrue "both sides are the same anyway" line. I apologize for crushing you that way. Just to make up for it, I'll vote 100,000 times in the next big election, & ... Oh. Yeah. Never mind. Wouldn't make the slightest damn. Except that I'd be really, really tired. And would have a huge mountain of those stupid "I voted!" stickers. .

I'm happy that things are looking up for you guys, Shaxper and Dan.
I found myself watching more Atheist vs Theist debates today. Ugh. I get sucked in by these every now and then. My "favorite" theistic debater is Dr. William Lane Craig. This guy is a crafty, crafty debater, but once you see enough of his tricks, his arguments aren't that impressive. Overall, his main fault is that 99.9% of his argument is for deism, not theism. Basically, once it gets to the point of accepting Jesus and the specific Christian doctrine, all his rationalism and logic go out the window...and he admits this. Shelly Kagan really handed him his ass though. That was fun to watch!

Terminator was a let down. I thought it would suck, went to a midnight showing, saw it, and confirmed that it sucked. The story was all over place, the continuity was as mangled as character in a Geoff Johns comic, and Jai Courtney as Kyle Reese was annoying as hell. It put the Marvel Studios films to shame with how much continuity wanking it had.

Terminator was a let down. I saw the first two Terminator movies back in the day and thought they were both rubbish. The popularity of the franchise is a real head-scratcher for me. I just don't see the appeal. Runs aways, ducking thrown rocks...

Going over to my Girlfriend's house for a BBQ and watching fireworks - We are having a late BBQ and I won't be home until 1 or 2 in the morning - we are planning of having dinner around 7-7:30 and go from there. I'm going to try to take a nap before I go and have a lite lunch today because she is having ribs for dinner tonight.

Didn't Kirby do a story in 1976 where Captain America went back to the American Revolution and got in a dust up with Benjamin Franklin? I believe it was a treasury edition.
